
Easy Sauted Mushrooms
This recipe is a great beginner recipe for mastering delicious garlic mushrooms. These are great with scrambled eggs for breakfast, mix with gravy for a beautiful steak sauce or just enjoy as is!

Ingredients
500g sliced mushrooms – button or field mushrooms work best but you can use a medley of your favourites – slice your mushrooms about 2mm thick
1 tbsp oil
Salt and pepper
2 cloves garlic sliced or crushed
1 teasp butter
Salt and pepper
Method
- Heat pan over medium high heat
- Place oil into pan and allow to heat
- Place mushrooms into pan and sauté. Use a wooden spoon or spatula to move mushrooms around the pan to cook evenly
- Once they are softened and golden, add butter and garlic to pan
- Toss the mushrooms in the melted butter and garlic and allow to cook for another minute
- Remove pan from heat, season with salt and pepper
- Enjoy!
