QPAC Little Chefs Workshop
Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to be part of QPAC’s Out of the Box Festival — a celebration of creativity, learning, and play for children under 8.
As part of the festival, I ran interactive cooking workshops that introduced young minds to the food rainbow, hands-on learning, and the fun of rolling their own sushi. It was a joy to see how curious, capable, and open these little chefs were — and how food can be such a powerful tool for connection and exploration.
I was honoured to be interviewed by The Courier Mail about the workshops and the broader impact of food education in early childhood. The article shares a bit about my journey, the workshop experience, and the value of programs like these in community spaces.

Thanks to QPAC for trusting me with this beautiful project — and to every family who joined in with such enthusiasm and openness. I’m so proud to be part of a community where learning and joy go hand-in-hand.
