No Bake Chocolate Crunchy Slice


  • 250g milk chocolate melts
  • 200g condensed milk
  • 75g butter
  • 1 packet arrowroot or other plain biscuits, finely crushed
  • ¾ cup rice bubbles


  • 250g milk chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp 100’s and 1000’s or any decoation your would like such as m &ms, easter eggs for seasonal slice, candy canes for Christmas etc


  1. Line a 18 X 27cm slice tin with baking paper and set aside
  2. Add chocolate, condensed milk and butter to a microwave-safe bowl. Alternatively place in heavy based pan and melt over stop top
  3. Heat in 30 second bursts, stirring between each burst, until all the ingredients have melted together
  4. Add to the biscuits and rice bubbles to chocolate and mix until all combined. Press the mixture into lined tray, spread to the edges with the back of a spoon or spatula and smooth the top
  5. For the topping: Melt together 250g chocolate with the oil in the microwave. Stir until it is smooth.
  6. Pour the chocolate over the base and spread it evenly to the edges. Scatter over topping of choice
  7. Chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours until set. Take out of the fridge 20 minutes before cutting into slices and serve. Slice will keep for 1 week in airtight container in fridge
