No Bake Chocolate Crunchy Slice
INGREDIENTS
- 250g milk chocolate melts
- 200g condensed milk
- 75g butter
- 1 packet arrowroot or other plain biscuits, finely crushed
- ¾ cup rice bubbles
TOPPING
- 250g milk chocolate
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp 100’s and 1000’s or any decoation your would like such as m &ms, easter eggs for seasonal slice, candy canes for Christmas etc
INSTRUCTIONS
- Line a 18 X 27cm slice tin with baking paper and set aside
- Add chocolate, condensed milk and butter to a microwave-safe bowl. Alternatively place in heavy based pan and melt over stop top
- Heat in 30 second bursts, stirring between each burst, until all the ingredients have melted together
- Add to the biscuits and rice bubbles to chocolate and mix until all combined. Press the mixture into lined tray, spread to the edges with the back of a spoon or spatula and smooth the top
- For the topping: Melt together 250g chocolate with the oil in the microwave. Stir until it is smooth.
- Pour the chocolate over the base and spread it evenly to the edges. Scatter over topping of choice
- Chill in the fridge for at least 3 hours until set. Take out of the fridge 20 minutes before cutting into slices and serve. Slice will keep for 1 week in airtight container in fridge
