These cute little biscuits are perfect for a Valentines Day treat or just sharing with someone special
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups Self Raising Flour
- 2 tbsp Corn Flour
- 125g Butter
- 1/2 cup Icing sugar
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1 teasp Vanilla
- 115g raspberry or strawberry jam
Method
- Preheat oven to 170 degrees
- Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
- Add egg yolk and vanilla, mix until well combined
- Add flours, mix until well combined
- Roll out small tablespoon amounts of dough into balls
- Evenly place on oven tray lined with baking paper
- Make small heart shaped indents in top of dough by pressing your finger at an angle to the left then meeting the same angle. See video below
- Spoon small amounts of jam into the indents
- Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes until golden
- Store in airtight container for 4-5 days
- Biscuits will firm once cooled
